Slow Progress Once Again

My weight has remained the same since my last post. I have reread parts of the Atkins book but have yet to see the fast losses that are almost promised by Dr. Atkins.

I will keep plugging away but can't believe that losing at least one pound a week is too much to ask.

Maybe I am eating to many calories. I am not sure if I want to get into calorie counting and all of that.

Could the Atkins Diet Help You Keep Diabetes at Bay?

Now if only the Diabetic Association in the US would get with the program and recommend low carb for those with blood sugar issues.

Of course Atkins is not a 100% guarantee cure for all diabetics. There are some who no matter how low carb they go will not lower their blood sugars on Atkins. Just like low carb does not result in tremendous amounts of weight being lost every week.

I have 19 days left in this 30 day challenge and that will be a total of 180 days of low carb. I have to say reaching each 10 pound milestone is taking a heck of a lot longer then I expected it to take.

Losing weight is hard and can make you want to scream sometimes. I just want this weight off now!

I will persevere and continue no matter how long it takes. But seriously I just wish my body would get over it and drop the fat.

Happy Summer Everyone! Let's make the next three months the best yet for weight loss.

If you are on any of the low carb boards you may see people that seem to lose 5, 6, 7 pounds a week or more. This seems to fly in the face of the experts out there who tell us that any more then 2 pounds a week of weight loss is muscle and not fat.

Do those low carbers who lose huge amounts of weight consistently every week know something that the rest of us don't?
