August 5, 2011 Day 24
It has been five months, seven days since I restarted low carb and my weight loss efforts. I do not know where I started as I refused to get on the scale on that cold winter day but I do know where I am today.
My weight is now 199 Pounds! That's right from this point on my weight loss will bring me a step closer to being a normal weight. Not morbidly obese, obese, or overweight. Just within normal range.
Considering I used to weight as much as three people put together when I was 307 pounds. I am not only the size of two people and soon I will be just one person.
If you have not started your weight loss challenge. Start now. You could be 20, 30, 40 or more pounds lighter in six months or heavier and miserable. Your choice.
Not to say I have not been tempted to eat junk. There are days when it's all I can do not to buy cookies, cake, pizza, etc. But I guess I want to be a normal weight more then I want the junk food.
Now on to my next goal of 179 Pounds.
August 2, 2011 Day 27
Been staying away from the computer with all this heat. But as promised I have my update.
Well I am not happy to report that I am still not in onderland. Maybe by the end of the week. One thing is for sure. The scale has to go down eventually.
July 27, 2011 Day 2
Well it's still hot as blazes here but I am happy to report that I am down 1/2 pound this morning.
Will I see onderland by the end of the week and the end of the month? Or will that diabolical scale make me wait until August to finally realize my dream of being under 200 pounds.
Stay tuned for further updates as the week progresses. Monday starts the beginning of a new 30 day challenge and marks month six of my weight loss challenges. Hard to believe I have been doing this for 150 days.

July 12, 2011 Day 17
Went on the scale today and showed a gain of two pounds. I am a little annoyed at the number but don't really think that it will stick around! Must have been the sweet potatoes.
Or it could be the heat. After all it is 100+ degrees. Not that I venture outside too much but I do feel very heavy and weighed down. The A/C only cools the house to around 74 or 75 when it gets this hot outside.
Will I make my goal to be in onderland in the next couple of weeks?
I sure hope so.
