Friday Night Carb Smackdown - Ate Pizza and Cheese Bread

August 23, 2011 Day 6

Weight loss the same this week. Thanks to a pizza and cheese bread fest on Friday Night. Truthfully the pizza was not as good as I remembered (and no I am not just saying that). My weight was the same the next day. Up almost 4 the following day and today it is back down to 196. I expect that by Sunday my weight will also be down at least a pound or two.

Hubby also had the pizza but did not weigh until today and is now down 2 more pounds.

The end of August through New Years is one of the most dangerous times of the year for me. There is something about the Fall weather and the impending holiday season that just makes me go a little crazy. The cooler weather makes me want to bake and nest. Plus the stores are filled with fun size candy bars, holiday cookies, cakes, and more.

This year I am determined to break this cycle and ignore all the temptations and end the year close to goal or at goal! Who's with me?

Well, I'm with you! I don't eat grains any more, and am not even tempted (much) because I finally lost the belly bloat and don't want it back, along with my joint pain. I also dropped 25 pounds in 6 weeks, eating lots of butter, lard, and fatty meats.
