May 16, 2011 - Day 13
I don't know about you but I started eating low carb to lose weight. I was tired of eating plain brown rice and skinless and flavorless chicken breast for lunch and dinner. Eating low fat I was always thinking about food. Fantasizing about nachos with gobs of sour cream and cheese, ice cream sundaes, etc. I was never satisfied and subsequently I would inevitably succumb to temptation and eat the very things I was craving.
With low carb I eliminated the physiological cravings for eating high sugar junk foods and I am working on eliminating the psychological desire for junk food when I am stressed, etc. I will talk about how I am doing this later in the week.
Today I want to address a comment I hear a lot from people who are struggling with their weight loss or a plateau.
