Taking it One Bite At a Time

So after a week of eating less red meat and more chicken I can honestly say that it sucks. Talk about being hungry. I have to eat even more chicken just to feel somewhat satisfied as opposed to eating a nice fatty cut of meat and not being hungry.

For those of you doing South Beach I don't know how you do it. I mean chicken breast has little to no fat and just doesn't do it. Now chicken thighs can keep me full a lot longer so I will still have those to add a bit more variety to my diet.

I haven't been as into blogging lately after the bad news from my doctor regarding my CRP. But some of you have helped me put it into perspective and I decided to not blow the over 100 pounds I have lost so far and start eating everything in sight.

I have decided to eat what I have to in order to lose the weight (thanks Jake) and worry about the CRP later.

Though I have added more fish oil and veggies to my diet to hopefully balance the supposed inflammatory properties in the red meat, eggs, butter and saturated fat.

I think it is easy to overdo anything, even high fat moderate protein and low carb by eating pretty much the same things everyday. Variety is an important key to being healthy!

Wish me luck as I try to lose this last 85 pounds once and for all.
