Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli have both been in the news lately for two very different reasons. Kirstie for her 85 pound weight regain and Valerie for her 40+ weight loss that she has maintained.
Now that the Summer Weight Loss Bootcamp is well under way, my question to you is who are you going to be: Kirstie or Valerie? Are you going to go through all of the hard work to lose weight only to regain it and a little bit more for good measure or are you going to lose weight one last time and maintain your new body for the rest of your life?
The choice is up to you. Only you can decide to make smart eating choices each day and if you slip make the decision to get right back on track with the next meal.
Being fat is almost like a life sentence since most people regain their weight within a year and within five years many are even fatter.

If you are not committed to losing weight and keep day dreaming about all of the foods you are going to eat when you are thin, then stop dieting right now. I mean why go through all of that horrible deprivation that you must be feeling. Eat that carb laden treat you have been craving.
As a fat person no matter how skinny I get I know that I will have to always keep disciplined and in control and never forget that getting fat is so much easier than losing weight. Believe me I never thought I would eat my way up to 307 pounds, but I did.
Here's to finding that determination inside yourself to make your weight loss a permanent success.
