I just tried on a pair of size 18 jeans last night. They fit, well if you count the fact that once I pulled them up over my rear I was a bit concerned with how the heck I was going to get them off. They didn't button or zip, but last time I tried them (about 4 weeks ago) they would not even go past my thighs.
Although I like to see the number on the scale go down there are many factors that influence it such as that time of the month, muscle replacing fat, your wonderful fat cells holding water to keep your weight the same on the scale, thyroid issues, the alignment of the planets and stars, etc.
Eating low carb is not a temporary fix for me. It is a permanent change and even if that darn scale says I have not lost one pound I am going to keep doing what I am doing. Whatever eating plan you decide on make sure it is one you can stick to even when the scale stops going down, because there will be times that it doesn't budge and may even go up a few pounds.
Keep your focus and determination!
P.S. If you are one of those exceptional people who can weight less in the evening after eating than they did in the morning drop me a line. I would love to hear exactly how you are able to bend the space time continuum and make that happen.
